The Capo’s Daughter

It's 1978 and in England's punk-rocking capital, eighteen years old Juliet Hobson has grown up in West London unaware of the identities of her natural parents – foster-parents Gerry and Maureen Hobson keep this a closely-guarded secret. Maureen Hobson seems barely aware of Juliet's solitary existence, while Gerry's dodgy associates lead her to believe that he is not all that he seems. After Juliet is sexually attacked by the Hobsons' son, Colin, she finds herself frightened and alone, sleeping rough on the streets of London. But this is only the first stage of a terrible journey of discovery that eventually will see her caught up in an East London criminal gang war – and wondering if this might be where she somehow belongs.
